Mobile Bidding:

We will be doing mobile bidding at this year's event, so please bring your fully charged smart phone or other mobile device that has access to the Internet (iPad, tablet, Nook, etc.). If you do not have or want to bring one of these devices, we will have bidding stations available. Please click on "Mobile Bidding FAQs" on the left if you have any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of mobile bidding?
*All silent auction items are available on your mobile device. 

*Once bidding starts, you will be alerted on your mobile device when you have been outbid, so you can instantly respond with another bid.

*Bidding can occur at any location within the auction itself, whether you are in line for the bar or mingling with friends. You do not have to be at the display tables to make a bid.

*All auction bidding will be tracked, displayed and announced in real time
throughout the evening.

*At the end of the evening, the checkout process will run efficiently because your credit card information will have been entered into our system prior to the event.

What about attendees who don’t own or don’t wish to use mobile devices?
*Tablets will be available onsite for those who don’t own or don’t wish to use a mobile device.

*Volunteers will be available to assist with questions.

Simple, three-step instructions explaining Mobile Bidding

First and foremost, if you are ever lost, you can get home by tapping the house icon under the official time clock. There are three basic functions of Mobile Bidding — Browse, Bid and Check. We handle the rest.

Browse – From the home screen, enter a package number or search phrase in the box and jump right to that package. You can also scroll through a list of packages by category; simply choose “Browse by Category” from the home screen. You can change the filtering category from the “Browse” page.

Bid – Entering a bid is easy and fast. Just go to a package’s detail page, select your maximum bid from the drop-down menu, and click “Place Bid.” You can also bid the next increment by clicking on the “Quick Bid” button. If your max bid is higher than everyone else’s, we’ll place bids for you to make sure you’re the high bidder. We’ll keep an eye on your bids and if someone else outbids you, we’ll send you an on-screen alert or text message right away.

Check – Once you’ve placed your bids, keeping an eye on them is easy. From the “My Bids” screen, you can easily see what you have bid on and get 10-second updates to see if you have been outbid. Jump from this page to any package by tapping the title or “Bid Again” on any package that you aren't currently winning.
